Enjoy an evening of contemporary acoustic music, soaring vocal harmonies, and a percussive tribal/world-beat vibe performed on an unusual mix of ancient and modern instruments, all focused on the theme of Spring Equinox (beginning of Spring) as a time of re-birth and renewed energy. Some of this concert will be performed in total darkness, illuminated by periods of flickering candlelight, providing a visually rich, spellbinding setting and mesmerizing listening environment.
Featuring the words and music of songwriter/performance artist Rudi Harst (vocals, guitar, Native American flute, dulcimer, Tibetan bowls) accompanied by a modern-ancient blend of instrumentation by The Rudiments - Ray Palmer (keyboard), Mike McLean (bass), Michael Madison (percussion), Medusa Vill (didgeridoo), Oliver Steck (accordion, coronet, and vocals) and featured vocalist Kayla Winslow.
