Imagine . . . a Total Eclipse Experience 80 feet underground!
The Rahim Quazi Trio presents a unique, multi-faceted underground Eclipse experience featuring a visual feast accompanied by rich music. Immerse yourself in the sound of cello, keyboards, electronica, and vocal harmonies, plus an enactment of a total solar eclipse 80 feet below the earth's surface - part of a once-in-a-generation eclipse experience! Some music you will recognize; other music is composed just for this special occasion.
Featuring (more about the talented performers):
Rahim Quazi -Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/storyteller/pianist/guitarist/creator of mood sounds,
Ben Katzen - a virtuoso cellist, playing in several symphony orchestras, and a composer and smoky-voiced singer. He can capture you with just himself and his cello,
Sydney Barber - a classically trained pianist playing at a high level. Sydney also is a composer and a singer. His lively style entertains as well as lifts a room.
As a trio, they will perform newly composed music mixed in with timeless classics as an eclipse takes place deep in the cavern.
Also featuring: music and projections from Lennon Quazi & interpretive dance in video format from Aleahya Baila.
Note: This concert is ticketing to all and is an add-on experience for those enjoying the Total Eclipse Experience. As part of the Total Eclipse Experience, the Sounds of the Sun concert tickets are non-refundable.
