Campground

Whether you are an avid bird watcher, a recreational trails explorer, a stargazer, or just looking for a peaceful place to rest, our expansive grounds provide a beautiful area for you!

Please call our office during business hours at (830) 537-4212 or contact us to make advance campsite reservations.

Available facilities:

  • RV & tent sites equipped with 30- and 50-AMP power, non-potable water
  • Primitive campsites available
  • Restrooms, including showers (bring your towels)
  • Picnic tables available
  • Reserve the Pavilion for special groups - a welcoming fireplace is available in cold weather.
  • Hiking trails for outdoor enjoyment
  • Excellent spots for bird watching, wildlife spotting, and star gazing.

 

About the Campground:

  • Guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their campsite.
  • The water is non-potable so bring your drinking water. Individual sized bottled water and refreshments are available for purchase in the Gift Shop.
  • Check-in time is from noon until the closing of regular business hours; check-out time is 11 am with a possibility upon request of an extension to later in the day.
  • Pay upon arrival.
  • The grounds gate is open during normal business. Advise if your arrival is outside of the regular business hours to obtain entry arrangements and make a pre-payment for the Campsite.
  • Sewer or dump stations are not available on the Campground.

Nightly Rates
(up to 8 guests/site)

RV site with power/non-potable water:  $32 per site

Tent Camping with power/non-potable water: $25 per tent
Primitive Camping: $15 per tent
