Fall Equinox - Rudi Harst & the Rudiments - 2019
All advance tickets are "will call" on performance day.
Enjoy an eclectic mixture of uplifting, contemporary acoustic songs, ancient instrumentation, improvisation, and contemplation celebrating the Fall Equinox (first day of autumn). Featuring the words and music of songwriter/performance artist Rudi Harst (vocals, guitar, flute, Tibetan bowls) accompanied by the modern-ancient blend of instrumentation by Mike Linde (didgeridoo), Ray Palmer (keyboard/guitar), Danny Toranzo (trumpet), Kevin Lewis (bass), Kiko Guerrero and Michael Madison (percussion), along with vocalist Dorothy Franco.
With a thematic focus on the balance of darkness and light marked by the first day Autumn, part of the concert will be performed in total darkness and flickering candlelight, providing a truly memorable experience!
