The Story of "GLI UNICI"
In 2007, Donald Braswell II, William Chapman, and Timothy Birt, three phenomenal and experienced opera singers, had a vision. They aimed to perform in the tradition of the Great Three Tenors but with a dynamic twist that would take their voices further than the big three ever would have dared. Their first performance was a resounding success, leading to widespread recognition and numerous bookings.
In 2008, Donald placed fourth on America's Got Talent. The experience took him away from the three tenor concerts for a year. They decided to grow an exceptional three-tenor group upon Donald's return. Considering the vocal minefields that their talent could create, the name "Gli Unici," which is Italian for "The Only Ones."
Donald Braswell II, William Chapman, and Timothy Birt traveled around the country and toured Mexico to sold-out audiences everywhere.
