Eclipse in the Cave - Rudi & the Rudiments
All tickets are "will call" on show day.
Important note: For those not attending the Eclipse Camping Experience, admittance to the cave grounds will not be available until after 4 pm.
After you experience the Annular Solar Eclipse, enjoy an evening with Rudi + the Rudiments as they perform, Eclipse in the Cave! -- an entertaining concert of songs focused on the dynamic interplay of light and shadow. This concert mirrors the stages of illumination involved in the Eclipse: the first part of the program is performed amongst the beautifully lit limestone formations of the Queen's Throne Room; the final part is performed in total darkness, then transitioning to flickering candlelight before returning to full lighting. The unique blend of top-notch acoustic music combined with superb cave acoustics allows a genuinely unforgettable addition to the rare celestial light show of the Eclipse itself.
Rudi + the Rudiments have been performing concerts incorporating their trademark variety of world-beat music styles in the Cave Without A Name since 2002. This special Eclipse in the Cave! concert features the words and music of singer/performance artist Rudi Harst (vocals, acoustic guitar, Native American flute, dulcimer, harmonica, Tibetan bowls) accompanied by Ray Palmer (keyboards and guitar), Dan Klein (trombone and shofar), Eric Finkelstein (bass), Alex Salinas (drums), plus guest vocalist, Kayla Winslow.
Note: This concert is ticketing to all and is an add-on experience for those enjoying Annular Eclipse Experience. Only those registered for the Annular Eclipse Experience will be allowed on the grounds during the morning of the Eclipse, Saturday, Oct. 14th.
