Total Eclipse Experience April 2024

Plan to view the Total Solar Eclipse on the grounds of the Cave! Located in the path of Solar Eclipse Totality, Cave Without a Name hosts a three-day family-friendly camping event highlighting nature's phenomena. Take this opportunity for a front-row seat to a spectacular celestial event. The US will not have another view of a Total Eclipse until August 23, 2044!

Arrive on Saturday, 4/06/24, to set up your camp. Settle into your campsite and start your evening with a 7 pm unique, multi-faceted underground Eclipse experience featuring a visual feast accompanied by rich music in the Throne Room, 'Sounds of the Sun,' presented by the Rahim Quazi TrioSurrounded by nature's natural acoustics and sublime beauty, the performance will simulate light and darkness to the whole light. The capacity is limited, so purchase your tickets at the same time as your camping space.

On Sunday, make reservations to tour the Cave and then enjoy nature as you hike the trails, mine the sluice, walk the labyrinth, have a geode cut, or, better yet, relax a bit. (Note: Additional charges apply for cave tours, sluice, & geodes.)

On Sunday afternoon, at 2 pm at the Pavilion, join Dr. Cesare Grava, an astronomer and planetary scientist at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX for a presentation, All About the Eclipse. (more about Dr. Grava and the presentation)

On Sunday evening, at 7:30 pm, join the Rahim Quazi Trio at the pavilion for a "Sing-Along." The musicians will play from their extensive catalog of well-loved songs. Come on guys - let loose and sing along! Plan to star-gaze in the evening.  

Have an experience of a lifetime on Monday. It starts at 12:14 with totality between 1:32-1:36. As the light returns, music in the pavilion performed by Jonny & Kayla themed 'Here Comes the Sun' - will start at 2:30 pm and is included in your camping fee. 

Call the Cave at 830-537-4212 between 9:30 am to 4:30 pm to reserve and pay for your camp spot. Camping fees are shown at the bottom of this page. All sales are final, with no refunds.
