Join world-renowned soprano Flicka Rahn, San Antonio tenor Timothy Birt and their brilliant pianist Daniel Wyman as they perform the songs you know and love with their brand of musical virtuosity. Two Dudes and Diva will ignite your passion for opera and musical theater.

About the Performers:
Timothy Birt, tenor, hails from San Antonio, Texas. He received his Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from Texas State University in 2001. The Houston Chronicle praised him for his depiction of Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Pearls citing: “In a production full of vocal highlights Birt's romantic aria Je crois entendre encore is a beautifully realized pinnacle.”
He has debuted at Carnegie Hall as the tenor soloist in Arwel Hughes' Dewi Sant. Notable performances include Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola, Elvino in La Sonambula, Count Almaviva in Barber of Seville, Nadir in The Pearl Fishers, Rodolfo in La Boheme., and Il Duca di Matua in Rigoletto. Timothy Birt has sung with Chicago Opera Theater, Battle Creek Symphony, Distinguished Concerts New York Carnegie Hall, Indianapolis Opera, The Atlantic Coast Opera Festival, Teatro di Comunale di Cagli, Teatro Grattacielo, South Texas Lyric Opera, San Antonio Opera, Lakeland Opera, Ashlawn Opera, Salt Marsh Opera, Opera Piccola, Sparkling City light opera, and Opera in the Heights.
Flicka Rahn is an internationally known performer, teacher, and composer. She has recently retired as an Associate Professor of Music at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christ where she taught for 22 years. She has also served on the faculties of Brandeis University in Boston, the Boston Conservatory of Music and University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. She holds an M.M.Ed. from Texas State University and an M.S. in Guidance and Counseling from Texas A&M Kingsville. Her art songs have been published in the series “Art Songs by American Women Composers.”
Ms. Rahn has sung major operatic roles throughout the United States. She has appeared as a guest artist with the Boston Lyric Opera, New York Wagner Society, Boston Concert Opera, Minnesota Grand Opera, and the San Antonio Opera to name a few. She has graced the stages of major concert halls both here and abroad including Carnegie Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Boston Academy of Music. Her most recent international recital appearances were in La Paz, Bolivia, Toledo, Spain, and Puebla, Mexico as part of a Cultural Music Exchange showcasing American Art Song with scholar, author, and pianist, Ruth Friedberg.
In 2011, as a Fulbright Scholar, she traveled to the Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro in Queretaro, Mexico and taught courses on American Art Song and American Musical Theater. She returned to Queretaro in 2014 to teach and produce musical presentations at the Pro Arte Escuela de Danza and the Centro Estudios de Musicales. In 2015 she continued her work in Mexico appearing with the Queretaro Symphony in their annual Opera Gala, performing solos and ensembles wit Mexican Vocal Artists. She continues to have a large studio of classical vocal students in Queretaro, Mexico.
Daniel Aaron Wyman is a multi-instrumentalist, educator, and composer/arranger hailing from Anchorage, Alaska. He has been performing and teaching professionally for well over a decade. Mr. Wyman studied music formally at Texas State University and has attended many clinics and master classes nationwide. He was honored to serve in the Texas Army National Guard 36th Infantry Division Band as the principal keyboardist for 6 1/2 years.
Mr. Wyman currently resides in New Braunfels, Texas, where he is the Service Organist/Pianist and Praise Team Leader at New Braunfels Presbyterian Church. He maintains an active schedule of session and live performance engagements in styles ranging from “Bach to Rock, “ and everything in between! In addition to weekly performances across Texas, Mr. Wyman maintains a teaching studio at the Bulverde Academy of Music, where he is privileged to work with a phenomenal staff, and talented, hard working students.
